Founded in 2014, Stratford Living published Stratford Living Quarterly Magazine which was distributed digitally (3) and in print (2). Cathy is an Amazon Best Selling Author and in 2016 was the recipient of 2nd Place Best Literary Category for Interviews With Legendary Writers From Beyond and 3rd Place Best Reference Category for 103 Fundraising Ideas For Parent Volunteers With Schools & Teams in the SIBA Awards presented by Metamorph Publishing. Cathy was the winner of a writing competition in Australia in 2012. Her prize was a signed copy of J. K. Rowling’s novel The Casual Vacancy.
In 2016, Cathy participated in Local Author Day on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at The Stratford Public Library.
In 2015 Cathy co-founded and co-organised The Stratford (and area) Authors and Artists Symposium (S.A.A.S.) which successfully launched on Sunday, November 22nd here in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
Cathy was a successful Account Manager in print media for 15+ years, having worked for The Stratford Beacon Herald, The Toronto Sun, The Ottawa Citizen, The Ottawa Sun and The Sydney Morning Herald (Fairfax Media), to name but a few. As a part of a team and individually Cathy has won awards for print advertising campaigns.
